CREATING DREAM HAWAIIAN HOMES IN A VARIETY OF STYLES

Given the breathtaking surroundings, one could surmise that any home on the Hawaiian Islands might qualify on some level as a dream home.  Still, for those who have come to the islands to build their true “dream home,” it’s important to find a Big Island Architect who can bring their singular vision to life.  With over 30 years of experience designing and coordinating custom homes in Hawaii, Roger Brasel and Hawaii Island Architects come at each new project with a wealth of experience and a sterling track record of creating living environments that quite literally enhance lives.

“With each home we undertake, it’s important to get as much information as possible on the stylistic elements that a client likes,” he says.  “Most of these people don’t live here; they’ve bought a custom lot in a resort or someplace and are building a vacation or second home.  I’ve had clients with very definite ideas as well as ones that give me pictures from books or magazines to express what they want to achieve.  Once I know where they want to go, I design a motif with that style in mind.”

“With each project we do it’s truly a collaborative effort with our clients,” he continues.  “It’s a great feeling for clients when they know an architect is respecting their tastes and doing everything they can to bring those tastes to life.”

In doing exactly that since 1977, Hawaii Island Architects has mastered the delicate balance of making each client’s unique visions and desires a reality in a cost effective, cost engineered fashion.  At the end of the day, Brasel’s work proves that even amidst the dream landscapes of the Hawaiian Islands some homes are simply dreamier than others.
